The NaturalSof flagship product line is a water softener alternative to condition the calcium in hard water and actually convert it to a non-binding form known as Aragonite. Our carbon block cartridges help reduce sediment while providing greater chlorine and chloramine performance reduction capacities than granular carbon. They also significantly reduce the carbon fines found in many granular canisters. The right carbon filtration is most effective in removing organic contaminants and trace pharmaceuticals from water. Because organic chemicals are often responsible for taste, odor, and color problems. Carbon filtration can generally be used to improve aesthetically objectionable water. Carbon also removes harmful disinfection-by-products, (DBP’s) from your municipal water!

Includes a built in Naturalsof NS1 or NS6 Catalytic unit.  Filters are changed one or two times per year based on water quality and volume of water used.

Six Super Layers of Whole House Filtration

(1) – Support gravel, the lower strata of the filter bed, acts to support the other filter media and trap large particles that may break loose in municipal infrastructure

(2) – Silica crystalline quartz media removes sediment down to 20 micron

(3) – Natural garnet media to further reduce sediment down to 10 micron

(4) – Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) is an adsorbent, and can effectively remove particles and organics from water. These organics are of great concern in water because they react with many disinfectants, especially chlorine & ammonia, and cause the formation of disinfection-by-products, (DBP’s). These DBP’s like trihalomethanes (THMs) are often carcinogenic and therefore highly undesirable

(5) – Catalytic Highly Activated Carbon (HAC) specifically removes the hard to get out DBP’s. Carbon is not all the same! Our HAC will reduce the difficult to remove chloramines…the nastiest DBP makers!

(6) – KDF can remove water soluble lead, mercury, nickel, chromium, and other dissolved metals. Extremely effective to mix with carbon and control the buildup of bacteria, algae, and fungi.

RO (Reverse Osmosis)

Our Best Flow Reverse Osmosis Filtration has the following stages:

(1) Sediment filtration: Reduces sediment particles, including dirt and sand. 5 microns.

(2) Carbon filtration: Reduces chlorine, chloramine, taste and odor.

(3) Reverse Osmosis Membrane: The main purifying stage of the system.

• Double the recovery over standard reverse osmosis elements
• Up to a 1:1 purified water to waste water ratio means less wasted water
• Rejection performance comparable to standard reverse osmosis elements means high quality purified water
• High rejection stability at high input TDS means it does well in even very hard water

(4) Carbon Polishing filtration: Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) filtration

(5) Optional Alkaline filter stage: High quality alkaline filter remineralizes RO water taking it from flat tasting acidic to great tasting alkaline.  Higher pH and lower ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) lasts long and is shelf stable for at least 72 hours
